Festival directors
CC Braithwaite is a member of a BAFTA winning crew for her work on Emmerdale. With over twenty five years' experience in the film and TV industry, she is a multi-award winning director and producer of numerous short films, including Skylark, Expiry Date and Circuit Love.
Andrew Hannon is a best selling author, theatre and film producer, playwright and screenwriter. He wrote and starred in the short Irish film Creepy Hill. With a decade of experience running film festivals and contests, Andrew is delighted to bring RIFF back for 2025 to help promote Irish talent on a global stage.

New for 2025, RIFF Script to Screen is a dedicated networking and development event for screenwriters and filmmakers—whether you're just starting out or already making your mark. Join us for an energising afternoon of guest speakers, informal panels, and open conversations about writing, filmmaking, and getting your stories made. It’s a space to share ideas, ask questions, and connect with others who are passionate about storytelling on screen.
Workshop with Ali Doyle – 1.00pm to 2.30pm
Head of Development at Newgrange Pictures and founder of genre company Mental Pictures, Ali Doyle has worked across Sundance award-winners, acclaimed horrors, and bold international co-productions. Whether you’re just starting out or already established, this is your chance to learn from one of Ireland’s most dynamic producers, passionate about fearless storytelling and helping new voices find their place on screen.

Screen Dating – with the National Talent Academy (Film & TV) 2.30pm to 5.00pm
Looking to make real connections in the industry? Our screen dating session brings filmmakers and screenwriters together to mingle, swap ideas, and spark collaborations. Whether you’re just starting out or already on your way, this is a chance to meet future collaborators and mentors in a fun, informal setting. The National Talent Academy will also join the conversation, sharing how they support emerging and established talent to grow, network, and take bold next steps in their careers.
